We want to help people with vestibular disorders feel well and move well.
We are located in London, Ontario and provide In-Home Vestibular Physiotherapy services to local clients and Virtual Vestibular Physiotherapy services to clients living anywhere in Ontario.
Being part of others’ healing and restoration gives us a purpose we can be proud of while helping people feel like themselves again through balance and movement.
We recognize the need for more accessible expert care options which is why we meet people in the comfort of their own home or virtually, understanding that leaving may be difficult for them.
On a larger scale, we work to raise awareness of vestibular disorders and foster connections in the community to ensure that people can more easily get the support they deserve.
We are always seeking opportunities to improve our knowledge and skills so that we can provide our clients with the highest quality vestibular physiotherapy care possible.
Hello, I’m Denise Vandermeulen
Clinic owner and Vestibular Physiotherapist
BScPT, MS, FCAMPT
I am a Physiotherapist with a love of science and movement and a desire to help people move their best. I have years of experience in outpatient physiotherapy settings in orthopaedics, sport and manual therapy and increasingly with those who have experienced concussion and vestibular conditions. My clients and excellent colleagues have inspired me to pursue advanced knowledge to help those experiencing the effects of these conditions. I am a lifelong learner and strive to provide the best care possible to the people I work with. I aim to listen to each person’s story, collaborate with them on individualized treatment plans and provide hope for their journey and recovery.
I hold an Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy, a Certificate in Sport Physiotherapy and am a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists (FCAMPT). I have studied acupuncture through Acupuncture Canada and am Certified in GunnIMS dry needling. In addition to introductory and advanced courses in vestibular rehabilitation and courses in neurological rehabilitation and concussion management, I attended the Competency-based Course in Vestibular Rehabilitation through Duke University and the APTA in Emory, GA in 2022, earning a Certificate in Vestibular Rehabilitation. I am passionate about educating my clients and others about vestibular disorders so they can better understand what they are experiencing and guiding them on their unique journey to better balance.
I love to be active outside and enjoy spending time with family and friends, cheering on my two children in their pursuits, cross country skiing when I can, and competing in the sport of triathlon. I am also a triathlon coach in training, an interest that supports my desire to help others enjoy movement and live healthy, active lives.
I look forward to meeting you!
